What is Virbac Cetrigen?

Cetrigen is a purple antiseptic spray designed to help protect minor wounds on domestic pets and livestock. It forms a visible film and helps deter flies — handy during warmer months and in outdoor settings.

Actives & how it works

  • Cetrimide: broad-spectrum antiseptic to help reduce bacterial contamination

  • Gentian Violet: classic purple dye that provides a protective film and visual coverage

  • Insect-repellent component (e.g., DEET): helps deter flies from landing on the area

Always follow the label for exact actives and concentrations on your can.

Ideal for

  • Minor cuts, grazes, superficial wounds

  • After tick or fly-bite irritation (unbroken or lightly broken skin)

  • Areas prone to fly strike on horses and livestock

DUE TO ACCIDENTAL ORDER OR CHANGE OF MIND

We offer refunds and/or exchanges, providing a request for return is received within 30 days of your order being delivered. Your item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.

The return shipping costs will be the responsibility of you, the customer. A prepaid shipping label can be provided, with the associated costs being deducted from the refunded amount.

Any refund or exchange will only be issued once the original item has been shipped back to us.
